OUR MISSION
To respectfully and compassionately empower our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness with hope by providing emergency and transitional shelter. We strive to share kindness, care, and guidance — together with our community partners — to help every guest move toward stability and a renewed sense of purpose.
Our Vision
Haven of Hope will be more than an overnight shelter. We envision a place where every guest is met with love, compassion, and dignity — where they are seen, valued, and reminded that their life has meaning.
Our goal is to walk alongside each individual in their unique journey, helping them overcome obstacles and rebuild self-worth so they can live a life of abundance, inspired by the love of Jesus.
We will begin as a low-barrier emergency shelter open to all — men and women alike — and, as we grow, expand to serve families through transitional and independent living programs.
Our long-term vision includes multiple locations across Madison County, beginning near downtown Richmond and expanding into Berea and North Richmond. Each site will serve as a beacon of safety, compassion, and renewal.
